BERLINER WEISSE (GER)

Was it really 10 years of Back To Future's stage abstinence? Grey-haired chroniclers pored over the annals and certainly know more, in any case it was a long time ago, a long time ago! It really is high time to finally let the crazy Berlin party animals loose on our audience again! The tried and tested BW recipe: always a mischievous streak, the right attitude in heart and head plus a lot of sing-along street punk anthems. And they are just really likeable guys, these BERLINER WEISSE. It is simply not impossible that we will have to get the musicians out of the outdoor pool or drag them away from the bar for their performance. We promise: It will (hopefully) not take another 10 years!

SHAM 69 (UK)

“Angels With Dirty Faces”, “Hurry Up Harry”, “Borstal Breakout”, “If The Kids Are United”... the following band announcement could consist exclusively of the hits of this band. Unbelievable but true, live and in color: SHAM 69 are coming to Glaubitz. And in the line-up MIT JIMMY PURSEY, DAVE P. AND DAVE T.! I'm going crazy, are you? One of the bands that started this whole punk thing in the first place. An inspiration for shiploads of bands from everywhere, from all decades, from every subgenre of punk, an absolute legend. But you already know. We'll see you all united and never divided in front of the Reitplatz main stage!

FAINTEST IDEA (UK)

Since our stage finally has a trumpet connection since THE SELECTER's performance this year, we can finally bring FAINTEST IDEA! Seriously, the English ska-punk band has been high on our “why not?” list of bands we’d like to have included for a while now. Although: It's not really that classic ska-punk, because the band hits us with their songs at almost ska-core speed. Say hello to the BOSSTONES, VOODOO GLOW SKULLS and THE FILAMENTS. For the first time at Back To Future: FAINTEST IDEA!

DIE VERLIERER (GER)

From an insider tip from the basements of Berlin to a favorite of the (punk) arts pages, off to the BEATSTEAKS supporting act and now up on the BACK TO FUTURE stage. You could almost say that the evolutionary chain has been played out. DIE VERLIERER in Glaubitz:

Gray, cold, big city sound in the deepest Saxon dreariness, that could be an impressive combination. DIE VERLIERER shine somewhere between (again) trendy post-punk, a small pinch of early 80s NDW (before that became embarrassing) and casual snobbery. Do you like CHAOS Z, THE CURE, FEHLFARBEN and ABWÄRTS? Set the alarm for the Berlin band's stage time!

OXO 86 (GER)

"OXO...I like it!" - are there actually people who think OXO 86 is really crap? You just have to love the Bernau beer destroyers. The catchy tune "So popular and so modest" hits the nail on the head. Up and down the country, wherever OXO go, the place is on fire! The guys themselves probably sometimes don't believe what's happening to them. We're excited and hope for sold-out stadiums, an OXO punk rock cruise, our own bobblehead figures and weeks of top spots in the Coretex charts, but before that there's going to be another great atmosphere: at Back To Future 2025!

D.I. (US)

Loyal visitors to our festival know that with a Back To Future ticket in your pocket you also buy yourself at least one little Trivial Pursuit punk history lesson every year. And here we dig really deep into the annals: D.I. from Fullerton, Orange County are without doubt one of the most important punk bands in America. File Under ADOLESCENTS, T.S.O.L., AGENT ORANGE, YOUTH BRIGADE and whatever they are called. Appeared in the legendary film “Suburbia”, covered by SLAYER, SOCIAL DISTORTION founding members (singer Casey), it could go on like this forever and you're sure to notice: There are absolute legends here. For the first time at Back To Future: D.I.

FAHNENFLUCHT (GER)

In times when we're probably thinking about desertion again at some point, bands like FAHNENFLUCHT give many people support and hope with their attitude and lyrics. These are depressing times. But wait a minute, this should actually be the euphoric, jubilant announcement that FAHNENFLUCHT will be visiting us again next year after their spectacular performance in 2019! The band's history begins in the 90s on one of the legendary Schlachtrufe samplers (who doesn't know them?), while today the (brand-new) album is charmingly called "Molotov Zitrone". FAHNENFLUCHT stand for "grown" (not necessarily adult) German-language punk and we are happy to welcome the band back to Glaubitz!

PRIVATE FUNCTION (AUS)

What PRIVATE FUNCTION achieved at Back To Future 2023 is rare. The band played in the tent at a really late hour on Friday night. Everyone, really everyone, who was able to witness the Australians' performance had nothing else to do the next day than to shout the following or similar sentences around the ears of all those who had unfortunately already said good night to the Sandman: “You missed something! There was another band in the tent and they blew everything away!” - “Have you seen PRIVATE FUNCTION yet? Craziness!!!" - “There were Berserkers in the tent? I have no idea what that was, but it was crazy!” or “I have a new favorite band!”. There are even said to be quite a few people who subsequently claim to have seen the band just to avoid being exposed to the scorn and ridicule of their enlightened circle of friends.

Well, what can we say, we have simply pulled out all the stops: PRIVATE FUNCTION from Down Under are coming back to Back To Future 2025!

MÄD LŸNX (GER)

Lynx alert at the riding arena! Since 2020, the Berlin-based MÄD LŸNX have been roaming the clubs of the country. It's about time for a visit to us! Punk meets hard rock, located somewhere between Motörhead, Runaways, Joan Jett and Misfits. In the past, some of the band's members could be seen in front of our stage pit as die-hard fans for years, now the MÄD LŸNX will preach rock 'n' roll to us from the stage pulpit! It's going to be great!

COCKNEY REJECTS (UK)

“Where the hell is Glaubitz, I just wanna know, I heard so much about this place and now I wanna play the hits!”.

Based on one of the greatest songs by the kings of Oi! Punk! Ok, the COCKNEY REJECTS were already here in 2019! Band leader Stinky Turner and his band wanted to say “That’s it!” some time ago. say, hang up the microphone, guitars and boxing gloves - but far from it: with none other than the Back To Future proven Olga from the TOY DOLLS and people from ARGY BARGY and LAST RESORT in the band line up there is now a Who Is Who of British working class music history is back on stage. Live, the quartet with this line-up is an absolute power, look forward to “I’m Not A Fool”, “Oi! Oi! Oi!”, “Police Car” and of course “Where the hell is Babylon”!
