BUCKLE IN - IT'S COMING NOW
THIS YEAR FRIDAY STARTS IN THE WALDBAD!!!
With the secret band THE BADMATADORE. For anyone who doesn't recognize them in the picture: This is a band that also plays on the main stage on Saturdays. But on Fridays in the forest pool with a completely different set.
And very important: life punishes anyone who comes late. The show starts at 12 noon. Just come on Thursdays.
BAND WANTED FOR FRIDAY LUNCH
We could add another band to the BADMATADOREN - playing time Friday lunchtime. Will there ever be such a chance again? Rather not.
You play in a band that fits Back To Future and your rehearsal room is not far from Glaubitz? Then get in touch with yourself or your friend who plays in such a formation. So put the name of the band under the post on Facebook and link the contact person. The Waldbad plenum then takes up the decision and immediately contacts the musicians.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE FAMILY CAMPSITES
Yep, there will also be a separate family camp in 2019!
The response last year was great and this year we have already received some new inquiries.
The camp area is located in a separate and somewhat quieter part of the immediate festival area.
Nevertheless, parents should think about suitable hearing protection. If necessary, you can also buy different sizes at the KOMBI burger stand.
As always, we have a wide range of food selection - you're sure to find something for your rascals on the festival grounds, the actual campsite and in the forest pool.
Otherwise, DIY “babysitting” is the order of the day again. If necessary, exchange ideas with the other parents, not everyone wants to see the same bands.
There is a secret FB group so that you can get to know each other in advance. We can add you to this if you are interested...
Basic requirement for everything:
Register by email to info@back-to-future.com - then you will receive all relevant information from us with the associated accreditation.
Important information:
Children up to the age of 13 have free entry. Children aged 14 to 15 receive a 50% discount! After that, everyone is a full-payer.
We look forward to the next generation!

BTF-CHECK: TOTENWALD
A band that will enrich us in several ways this year is Totenwald. The performance will definitely be exciting.
How do you know the festival? You hear that again and again. So the festival has been around for a long time and the line up is usually very good because the mix of bands from all over the world is excellent.
What's it like for you to come to us? For us it's basically the chance to present ourselves to an audience that mostly doesn't know us and usually doesn't prefers a different sound. For us to be able to see other bands and to be sure to meet people we know or make new acquaintances. We are looking forward to a really nice Punx Picnic.
Then let's get the word out, what can people expect from you? Well, we are a punk band that is heavily influenced by 80s New Wave.
Which bands are you excited to see? Third choice, Richie Ramone, piss and raid.
Please finish this sentence: With Playing Totenwald is...
...like traveling forward into the past.
BTF-CHECK: THE BOMBPOPS
The American THE BOMBPOPS are coming to visit us for the first time this year. Like everyone else, they had to answer a few questions:
This is your first time coming to us, then let's go. Uh, hello, it's Poli from The Bombpops.
Aha. Do you already know Back To Future?
Yes, we were recently on tour in Germany and we were told about the festival. That's a good thing.
What is a “no go” at a festival? Not drinking enough water between beers. Do yourself a favor. Oh and of course: Don't do shit with beer!
Is there a band you're interested in that you've never heard of before? I will try to see as many as possible. I enjoy this at festivals and it’s good for bands. You have the opportunity to show quite a few people at the same time.
Our slogan is “Punk Rock Wellness”. What could that mean?
Hm, that could mean that you keep holding the punk rock flag high in the wind. But also taking care of yourself and everyone else around you and supporting each other.
EXACTLY THREE WEEKS LEFT
Our invitation, the invitations 2018!
Get your tickets, check your gear again, pack your swimming trunks or bikini and let everyone know: Exactly three weeks from today the world will stand still again for three days.

Feel free to send the clip as often as possible and subscribe to the channel.
Thanks to Feine Sahne Fischfilet for “Back in our city”.
The current album “Sturm und Dreck” is available »HERE - on Amazon eh shit. Also a big hooray to Anti-Flag for the classic “Die For Your Government”.
Their current album “American Fall” can be found »HERE
Otherwise, many thanks to our friend Martin from KESSELPUNKS. After the two aftermovie clips, this one has become very fine again.

LULU, RUNNING NOW
Punk Rock Wellness is now our super duper slogan. What does a sophisticated woman like Lulu imagine by this? Since I'm already over 30, I'm the classic wellness person. Hop over the lawn sprinkler in a bikini and sit lightly.
Which one of you will show off which jump in the forest pool? Of the Boyz for sure. They want to show off their muscles. I don't really need that.
What's really cool about festivals? BEER and BOYZ. But more BEER!
How do you feel about being on stage with this band? It's often unpleasant but usually quite nice.
BTF-CHECK: NASTY RUMOURS
A band that masters and celebrates the '77 style so much can only consist of good people. It's going to be a celebration with NASTY RUMOURS!
Which one of you is most excited about being able to play at Back To Future? Well, me! I've wanted to go to the BTF for a long time, the program is great, a lot of nice people that I like go there and can now play myself, that's a nice thing.
You're from the BTF Switzerland, when are you leaving? We're playing in Tabor at the Mighty Sounds Festival before the BTF and somewhere else on the way there. That means NASTY RUMORS can do a full rehearsal twice before the BTF, which in turn means that we will be extremely horny.
Glaubitz is more on the flat land. Explain to us what's so cool about mountains. Come on, get us really hot! Mountains aren't cool! They are dangerous, brutally high and create shadows and are therefore responsible for my pale face. Jamous, on the other hand, the Nasty Rumors guitarist, loves the mountains because they are so high and steep. He loves climbing all the peaks in the Bernese Oberland, then nibbling on a sausage up there and looking down. Something like that... You're welcome to ask him more about this topic at the BTF, he'll talk to you for hours!
There's a forest pool near us where a karaoke band also plays on Saturdays. Are you coming to cool off and who will sing which song? Cool, beach vacation in Glaubitz, definitely hotter than any mountain hike! I generally only sing playback, but I'd be happy to listen to the whole thing over a beer.
Do you know our slogan Punk Rock Wellness? What do you imagine by that? Everyone knows that punk rock is wellness for the soul and balm for the liver!
RAZZIA IN BTF-CHECK
You don't always have to answer questions at length, of course. Well, we're looking forward to RAZZIA - The Band Fanpage. Here's your quick check:
From the bustling cosmopolitan city of Hamburg to the tranquil and quiet Glaubitz. What do you think you can expect? An open air gig with around 2000 visitors.
Did you ever play in the East before 1989 or did you drive through? What was it like back then? Before the wall came down we didn't play in the GDR.
Who do you know and might be happy to see? The bassist has heard of Anti-Flag, Piss and Third Choice. We also had a few performances with the latter decades ago.
What do you value at an open air? We think it's great when there's a lot of audience, the facility is good and which is comfortable backstage and has a clean toilet.
