HERE'S WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

* For an environmentally friendly journey by train you can go directly to the Bahnhof Glaubitz. For the route on foot, roller skates or even by car, you can find the Back To Future Festival as an official entry on Google Maps. The campsite with ticket office and wristband exchange is on Großenhainer Straße (coordinates: 51°19'29.3"N 13°23'12.6"E).

* Festival and day tickets are available this year right at the box office before the entrance to the festival grounds. You can also pick up the wristbands for your advance-saletickets there. You can also purchase wristbands for the forest pool for Friday and Saturday right then and there, saving you from having to queue later (8.00 EUR for both days).

* Upon presentation of your B note in the severely handicapped pass, your companion can of course come to the festival free of charge. Please contact our crew if we can support you in any way.

* Children and young people under the age of 16 may only visit the festival if accompanied by an educational officer. Admission is free up to and including 13 years of age and there is a whopping 50% discount at the daily box office for up to and including 15 years of age. For free or reduced admission, please bring official proof of age with you.

* Festival guests between the ages of 16 and 18 without a guardian must leave the festival site by midnight in accordance with the Youth Protection Act. When accompanied by a person responsible for education, the time limit does not apply. Legal guardians are parents or other persons with custody, as well as persons commissioned by them to supervise. This person must be of legal age and guarantee a relationship of authority, so siblings and friends of the underage guest are unfortunately not allowed to exercise this function. You can find the form for the educational assignment under the Downloads and must be presented during the event along with a copy of the identity card of the legal guardian(s) upon request. Please note the additional information on the form!

* As always, camping on our campsite is included in the ticket for weekend guests. Access to the camping area is only possible with guest wristband. From Thursday morning you can look for a cozy spot and park your car right next to your tent or park your caravan (there is no separation of tent and parking lot or caravan). Please always apply the handbrake and switch off the engine when parking! To ensure that those arriving later can still find a parking space, please save space by avoiding reservations for others as well as large pavilions. Your neighbors will appreciate it.

* For day guests we have again set up the day parking lot opposite the campsite.

* As in the past, there will be no garbage deposit and so that it can stay that way in the future, you will be provided with one (if necessary more) garbage bag(s) at the entrance. When leaving the festival, please dispose of your waste in the container provided. If you smoke, please use an ashtray at your campsite and try to dispose of your cigarettes in bins. The dismantling crew will be forever grateful!

* Portable toilets and toilet trailers with flush toilets are available in sufficient numbers across the festival grounds and the campsite. Unfortunately, this year you can only shower—with refreshing cold water—at the forest pool.

* You can find a wheelchair-accessible portable toilet near the mobile restroom unit on the festival grounds, and another one at the campsite. The Waldbad is designed to be wheelchair-accessible (including the sanitary facilities).

* You can find the line-up, including set times, in the downloads section shortly before the festival. The warm-up show takes place in the tent on Thursday starting at 6:00 PM; on Friday, things continue at 11:00 AM at the Waldbad with beer yoga, followed by the start of the musical program at the Waldbad at 12:15 PM. Saturday kicks off at 11:00 AM at the Waldbad with P.I.Y. Punkrock Karaoke. The main stage will host performances from 4:00 PM onwards on both Friday and Saturday.

* The Waldbad opens at 10:00 a.m. Understandably, the ban on glass applies here too! Once again, there will be a beer truck, a cocktail stand, and food options available.

* For a hangover-curing breakfast, the crew from the local "Drei Lilien" restaurant will be serving you in their breakfast tent at the front of the campsite. Back on the festival grounds this year, you can once again get the popular vegan burger at the KOMBI stand. In addition to the crêpe and *Handbrot* stands, HOLZWURM RIESA will be offering a wide range of food. Over at the Waldbad, the bakery stand awaits with coffee, cake, and bread rolls. Just like in previous years, the motto at the Waldbad is "finally, fries again!"

* In the municipality of Nünchritz-Glaubitz there are several shops, restaurants and a savings bank with ATM.

* Our Shire will soon be home to horses again. The sweet little horsies can get badly hurt from broken glass, which is why there is an absolute ban on glasses on the entire site, including the forest pool (aka "Waldbad" and okay, we make an exception for glasses). Incidentally, this also applies to mustard, jam, pickles, wine glasses, deodorant, creams and lanterns - so please make sure to pack your food and cosmetics glass-free. Baggage and vehicle checks are carried out at the entrance.

* Open fires are strictly prohibited due to the increased risk of fire. Instead, you can heat up in front of the stage with your favorite bands!

* As the forest fire level on the festival weekend is not yet known, we cannot yet say anything about barbecuing on the campsite. Experience has shown that the weather conditions in the middle/end of July usually do not permit this. Please understand that we want to protect our guests, the crew and the site and must comply with official regulations. Of course, there will be plenty of varied food available!

* Ban forbidden? Unfortunately we have to set some limits and so weapons of all kinds, pyrotechnics and flammable objects as well as illegal drugs are not allowed at the entire festival. Plastic confetti, too, please stay at home in the interest of nature conservation. If you absolutely cannot do without, please use ecologically degradable alternatives.

* No vandalism! Please refrain from putting up stickers, tagging, or spraying graffiti on the festival grounds or in the local area. We are required to return all rented equipment clean and undamaged; failure to do so could result in additional costs that would ultimately drive up ticket prices for future years. The municipality of Glaubitz supports the open-air event—provided we leave the area in good condition. For instance, this means we have to scrub stickers off lampposts, traffic signs, information signs, town limit signs, and bus stops every year after the festival. So please save your stickers for better opportunities where they’ll be visible for longer than just a single weekend.

* Avoiding waste—even outside the event grounds—is a top priority! Please help our teardown crew by using the available disposal facilities and, ideally, a portable ashtray.

* Unfortunately, furry, feathered and other animal favorites cannot share your festival joy - so please leave your pets in caring hands and enjoy the weekend all to yourself with your people!

* Always follow the instructions of our security personnel. In the (hopefully unlikely) event of an emergency (e.g., involving emergency vehicles or evacuations), please look out for yourself and others, and ensure you do not hinder any response measures! First responders are always on site; please contact our crew in the event of an emergency.

* We want a great party for everyone—free from discrimination, harassment, and boundary-crossing behavior! Please be considerate of one another and respect others' boundaries. If you feel harassed, need help, or witness a situation that concerns you, please contact our crew. If you notice physical distress—whether in yourself or others—please contact our crew, who will provide assistance or call for help.

* Tattoos and clothing that show unconstitutional, racist, xenophobic, violent or other inhuman content or characteristics will lead to exclusion from the festival without reimbursement of costs. We're not discussing here!

* Sound, photo and film recordings for commercial purposes must be registered with us in advance!

* The Back-to-Future Open Air is a relatively small festival with limited resources (in terms of both space and budget); consequently, you should expect high noise levels, crowds, and light effects throughout the site. Please remember to bring any personal aids you may need (hearing protection, glasses, gadgets, etc.) and stay close to your support group. If you do reach your limits, however, please contact our crew, who can take you to a safe retreat area for a while.

* A wheelchair-accessible Dixie will be provided on the campsite and in the infield for eligible persons. In addition, you will find a wheelchair-accessible toilet and shower in the forest pool.

* After talking to concert-loving wheelchair users, we decided not to have a separate wheelchair platform. If you would like to watch a show from the stage pit with your companion, please contact our crew.

* Please also feel free to contact us with any other questions, comments, or requests for assistance! We are committed to continuing to remove barriers in the coming years and therefore welcome constructive criticism and suggestions.
