We haven't heard from us for a long time, but now some more information.
On February 12th, 2011, DIE PARTY II will take place in the Torgauer Kreiskulturhaus. Part I literally calls for a repetition! Everyone who was there will be
confirm ... what kind of break was that ?! Well-known protagonists such as DIE LOKALMATADORE , OXO86 and the Berlin girlies will be there
THE STATE MATTRESSES . The line up is completed by MONA RELOADED , the punk rockers, like the Oxos, come from Bernau-Punkrock-City.
VVK tickets for this event are available at Metropol Torgau, Spitalstr. 32a. You also have the opportunity to purchase e-tickets free of charge to print out from our website. Just go to & raquo; TICKETS and follow the path "concert tickets", "e-tickets", click on flyers, put tickets in the shopping cart, etc., ... shouldn't Be a problem.
We are again offering the popular bus trip from Riesa to Torgau. If you are interested, let us know via our contact form so that we can keep track of things. Unfortunately, the number of places is limited. Hold on; who comes first, paints first.

CRIMSON GHOSTS-SHOW
Well, let's get to something positive. The next event will take place on September 18. in the Jugendhaus Roßwein. With THE CRIMSON GHOSTS and THE HOWLING WOLFMEN we invited two great bands. CRIMSON GHOSTS are on tour in Germany and present their new LP "GENERATION GORE", the LP was released by CONTRA LIGHT RECORDS.

THE FREEZE - Europe Tour canceled!!!
Yesterday we received the message that the entire European tour of THE FREEZE had been canceled.
What a shame, we were so excited to see the band. It is certainly even more annoying for the band themselves, since this year it is the second attempt for them
the planned European tour was. Reasons were probably ambiguities when booking the flight. So we have the concert on September 10th. have to cancel in Roßwein.

Before we conjure up the first fresh photos from Glaubitz on our site in the coming days, we would of course like to thank you. You were great and we hope the Back To Future can welcome you as guests again in 2011. One thing is already certain - the Back To Future / Glaubitz Open Air will take place on July 15th and 16th in 2011 at the same place!
Special thanks go to the 100 helpers. The festival would not be possible without you. Whether propaganda minister, homepage slave, graphic artist, beer tappers,
Kitchen fairy, band supervisor, hand, treasurer, assembly or dismantling helper, security, technician or sanitary, our thanks go to each and every one of us. Finally, a big thank you to all the bands who made it easy for us.
At the very end all I can say is that we are happy to be home again! Mülheim's sons see it that way too. Beaming with joy, Bubba was able to seal the new 10-year contract with a damp handshake.

ARRIVAL, WARMUP, ...
The first guests are already pitching their tents. Today from 9 p.m. you can get on the premises free of charge, the beer tap is already running.
It starts tomorrow at 5:30 p.m., admission is from 3:00 p.m. Tickets are of course also available at the box office - festival ticket 35.00 euros, day ticket 23.00 euros. We look forward to seeing you!

Advance sales on our website will end on Thursday at midnight. Spontaneous customers can still pay by bank transfer (online banking), credit card or PayPal. The tickets will then be sent to you by email on Friday morning, you just have to print them out and then you can start towards Glaubitz. It is best not to wait until the last minute - the weather is going to be great anyway. Delicious food from the grill, as well as vegan food or cold drinks at reasonable prices (0.4l beer for 2 euros). Lots of merch and record stands have also been announced.
And remember, THE LOKALMATADORE have an anniversary, come up with something else! We hope you have read the songs from the new LP "Söhne Mülheims". Otherwise, you can download it from the LOCAL PAGE as an MP3 download and learn it by heart on the way there!

NEWS - THIS AND THAT
You can access our idyllic camping area from 3 p.m. on Thursday. Here again the note from us that glass has no business being in the paddock, we will carry out vehicle checks as usual. In addition, open fires are not permitted due to the increased forest fire level, so be sure to pack your beloved barbecue. That should be clear to everyone.
The BTF has also been the topic of several radio broadcasts in the last few weeks. If you have the time, just listen:

NEWS - THIS AND THAT
The number of strokes in terms of festival preparation will be increased significantly. We are now on the festival site around the clock. After a successful day's work, we cool our limbs with a dip in the forest pool. Water temperatures are currently around 24 degrees Celsius. The positive thing about the forest pool is the large, shady trees, so you can stand it. Speaking of temperatures, they shouldn't be so subtropical on the weekend - so ideal festival weather at 27 ° C.
We received a message from the 2ND DISTRICTs, who are looking forward to the festival so much that Ex-drummer Burn Harper jumps on the train from the Ruhr area. He will take turns at the shooting gallery with Keith, i.e. DISTRICT with Pascal Briggs, Marc Ader and Burn Harper - almost with the original cast.
Those who have not yet ordered a ticket can of course fall back on our box office. There are enough tickets available. It costs 35 euros for the entire weekend, including free entry to the forest pool, of course. Be careful not to pay any more in the VVK - if in doubt, the money is better off with us! NEWS - RUNNING ORDER
Don't worry, we didn't fall asleep! We were only on the move for advertising, so that even the last freak out there knows that GLAUBITZ is back in fashion next week. From now on there will be daily reports about the status of the preparations and we will keep you up to date with news that will arrive here at the headquarters.
Today the Möhbalken was first used on the riding arena, after a three-year break it was high time!

NEWS - LINEUP & PRE-SALE
So, we made it and conjured up the band descriptions on our site. So you can see which band is playing on which day. We didn't want to make such a big secret out of it (you can see it on every band page anyway), but 3 soccer games a day also slightly impaired our efficiency.
Like last year, we switched our shop to the Punk.de system just in time for the festival. You are in good hands there, ordering and processing run smoothly and there are no fees. And the best of all, we can concentrate completely on the festival preparations - well, we will definitely watch one or two games ;-).

NEWS - F.P.P.F.
Forever Punkrock Punkrock Forever - Bocky including Leibstandarde has a new booklet at the start. Numero 12 deals with Strike Anywhere, Johnny Wolga or Riot Brigade, among others. The Inti with the Oireszene people and Stomper 98 deserves special attention. An all-round successful edition with a beautiful cover picture by the Australian poster artist Daymon Greylich. The best thing to do is to subscribe, for 12 euros or even better with a stylish PUNKROCK! Shirt for 17, - there are 4 issues!

NEWS - BANDS
We can also follow up on the previous years in terms of ribbon technology, there are plenty of pearls in this year's line-up. Everyone should have marked at least a handful of highlights for themselves. We recommend the Klingonz, a real spectacle with juggling, fire-breathing and music, certainly not only for the common psycho. Likewise interesting Gewapend Beton from Holland, Yum Yums from Norway or Pipes & Pints from the Czech Republic. Of course we also have a lot of sensational bands from home. The skeptics should not go unmentioned in this context!

NEWS - THIS AND THAT
What do we start with, first of all with the bad news: The FREEZE show we planned with R.K. $. and THE HOT LIPS on 06.06. Unfortunately, the CHEMO Dresden has to be canceled. FREEZE had to cancel the whole tour for personal reasons. This will be made up at the beginning of September.
When it comes to BTF, there is now the LINE UP, with the Freiberg psychos THE HOLY HACK JACKS we are closing the sack. On the one hand, the guys have been guests of our festival for years and, on the other hand, THE best quality band in the area in this genre. As always, we are happy to honor both and hope to increase their level of awareness outside of our region.
So and now it comes, DIE LOKALMATADORE finally have their new album "Söhne Mülheims" out. Of course it's again about stories that life writes. We now have an audio sample on our MySpace page. This song aroused great interest in a very short time!
In the next few days we will be informing you about other pre-sale locations, the possibility of ordering day tickets, etc. Our personal effusions packaged in the popular short band descriptions are available under LINE UP for the days. So come back every now and then!

EVENT TIP
The »RUHRPOTT RODEO goes into the next round this Pentecost weekend. Within the last four years the rodeo has developed into a stately punk rock festival. As always, the band selection is terrific, this year the headliners are none other than SLIME and WIZO , but the rest of the LINE UP can also be seen again. Full of anticipation, we head west on Saturday - our appeal to something still undecided: Don't miss out on this delicacy!

EVENT TIPS
In the next few days two events will take place again with our energetic commitment.
13.05. - One point of reference is the Ascension Day in the Oschatzer E-Werk. On this day, please divide up your forces particularly well, because the SKATOONS will be at the start there in the evening. The people of Hamburg have now mutated into a full-blown ska band and we are really excited to see how the 10 northern lights deal with the space in the control room. UNDENKBAR are used as support in the small but fine hall of the E-Werk. The signs are for a party!
05.05. - The CANDY SNATCHERS are already making a stop at the Dresden chemical plant this Wednesday. Rock'n'Roll seems to have been invented for the band from Virginia / USA. Front man Larry May is notorious for his live shows, in which alcohol and blood often flow freely. Who with bands a'la New Bomb Turks, Egyptian Gaylovers, 69 Charger, Garagepunk
or High Energy Rock'n'Roll should keep Wednesday free. In the opening act, the VOLT GHOSTS will show what they have been doing in the rehearsal room over the past few months. The band is still very fresh and offers the singer and bassist of the Shoemakers a second field of activity.

PIPES AND PINTS from Prague have already convinced us twice, so we decided to the folk punks just couldn't get past them. The rather unusual cooperation from overseas and Eastern Europe is well on its way to developing into a great European folk punk band, the local REAL MCKENZIES , so to speak.
ZACK! ZACK! are a new project by members of THE SHOCKS in Berlin, Andi from CREEKS and Marius from MINUS APES . Musically things are heading towards SHOCKS, as expected, we are very excited about what awaits us with this band in the future.
The cool 77s glam punk rockers from SKEPTIC ELEPTIC from our popular neighboring country Austria wanted to leave the stage without ever having played at BACK TO FUTURE . We had to intervene ... they are giving their final concert on the Glaubitz stage. So friends of this band, you have another chance to experience SKEPTIC ELEPTIC live.
The Rostock ska punks FEINE CREAM FISH FILLET are still there and the Torgau battleship SPERRZONE , as well as a surprise band from Lower Saxony who also likes to do gardening in their free time.
