AFD? ADÈ!
Actually, you use these days to look back and say a few contemplative words. These are difficult for us regarding the upcoming events. We dare to look ahead. And right at the beginning of the year, the focus across Germany and Europe is on Riesa. Yes, this small town just outside Glaubitz.
The federal party conference of a self-proclaimed “Alternative for Germany” will take place here from January 11th to 14th, 2019. We believe that a gathering of people who are against everything that the Back To Future/Glaubitz Open Air, its guests, its artists, its helpers, its supporters, its creators stand for, cannot go uncommented.
We are committed to a free and plural society in which everyone can live a self-determined and fearless life, regardless of religion, gender, sexual orientation or origin. We are afraid that in the not too distant future other people will want to tell us again which books we are no longer allowed to read, which music we are no longer allowed to listen to, which life plans we are no longer allowed to follow. And we are even more afraid that this will affect people without participation, without a lobby, without the supposedly correct nationality or the supposedly correct gender, who are "different" in yesterday's worldview.
That's why we support AFD's planned activities? Goodbye! For this reason, things have been a little quieter than usual for us in the last few weeks. Thank you for your understanding and, more importantly, send a clear signal with us!
The demo starts on January 12th, 2019, followed by a concert in the big tent at the OJH Riesa. Come over! Take part! Help with!

NEW PLASTIC BOMB
The new issue of the Plastic Bomb Fanzine was published on Saturday. Included is a full two-pager about our favorite festival. Hey and Pascal, thank you for the kind words and the great conclusion. We are already looking forward to 2019 like Hulle.

The very, very few (human) failures definitely don't spoil the overall picture and I'm annoyed as I write these lines why I I just went there again over the years. Top organization and still a great area that will hopefully be preserved for a long time, great crew and technology, really cheap and delicious food for a festival..."

BTF / GOA 2019 ANNOUNCEMENT
The BTF / GOA 2018 was an absolute hit and is literally crying out for a new edition!!!
Description:
The BACK TO FUTURE/GLAUBITZ OPEN AIR is a punk rock festival that has been taking place in the heart of Saxony in the immediate vicinity of the Elbe (near Riesa) for over two decades. An event that is still organized by the founding members because punk rock and other good music still determine a large part of their lives.
Every year the BTF offers an international line up and an event site on a lush, green riding arena. This can be reached in a few minutes on foot from the campsite. Another highlight is the adjacent forest swimming pool, where almost 2,500 festival visitors traditionally meet to splash around and do high diving or simply sunbathe with a beer while listening to live music in the best atmosphere. PUNK ROCK WELLNESS!
The picture is rounded off by the inexpensive food and drink supply. This is done either by the crew themselves or locals. The supply at the campsite, on the festival grounds and in the backstage is in no way inferior. Everywhere we work according to the motto “think global, act local”, which is why above-average quality is also offered here.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
The dismantling is still in full swing and we are pretty exhausted after these three days of madness. Wellness can be quite strenuous...but before we start rambling:
Thanks to all visitors and bands who were there. It was really amazing how everything harmonized with each other. In this context, many thanks to the security and this exceptional crew. All around a great punk rock festival, the family as a whole has grown significantly!
Together you are the hot ones. Thank you Chapeau and see you in 2019!
