MARKY RAMONE - YOU CAN'T GET MUCH MORE RAMONES THESE DAYS

He joined the RAMONES in 1978 and, apart from a rehab break, served as the New York proto-punks' shooting gallery until the end. During this time he played with Rock 'n' Roll High School and was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame with the band. The list of interesting events could go on, but it's about MARKY RAMONE'S BLITZKRIEG. A band that will kill us with eternal classics at this year's BTF. Speaking of classics, CIRCLE JERKS founding member and long-time BAD RELIGION guitarist Greg Hetson is also on deck here! Fed up with music history again!

NEGATIVE APPROACH - FOR ADDITIONAL DENTAL INSURANCE

Nobody should say afterwards that we didn't point this out far enough in advance, so now: If you watch NEGATIVE APPROACH without a face mask, you don't have to complain afterwards that half the dining room is missing.

Here comes an incredibly angry hardcore band from 1981, which got angrier every year and, in contrast to their better-known colleagues MINOR THREAD or BLACK FLAG, is still playing regularly are. Join in or keep your head down!

EASTIE ROIS - snotty-nosed brats FROM THE TIME MACHINE

It's almost a shame for all those who don't know the Berlin brats! After all, the capital city trio Eastie Rois already has three LPs to their credit - everyone probably has one of them in their shaky hands. We can expect borderline brilliant, German-speaking punk rock in the style of the late seventies, which is also suitable for the inclined SHOCKS misser.

KOMINTERN SECT - VERY PRETTY SONGS OF PARIS

After the French street punk thugs Komintern Sect got together again in 2014, there is only one solution and it is called: The groovy Oi! play that made them famous, just refreshed a bit.

We are very happy about this confirmation, as we have been working on the Parisians for several years and it finally worked.

MISSSTAND - THERE IS NO QUIET HINTERLAND

How nice that German punk is a genre that on the one hand can't be killed and on the other hand it keeps producing bands like Misstand. Clear, direct statements that don't want to beat around the bush, but rather offer a blunt look at the misery. The Austrian trio is coming to us for the first time this year, we are looking forward to it.

GRINDHOUSE - NOTHING FOR WEAK NERVES

GRINDHOUSE, that's dirty rock 'n' roll from suburbia by weird WEIRDOS from Down Under, more precisely Melbourne. You have to trigger here, there's no getting around it. Great piggy skirt, which may be presented with legs apart in a thong, might be too hard for some. Others, on the other hand, find it incredibly good. Come and decide for yourself… if you dare.

FCKR - FINALLY A BITCH

After FCKR had to cancel last year due to illness, they were one of the first bands confirmed for 2019. A bench of a band, in more ways than one. Horny pigs, the clever lyrics are great and the crisp beat hits the cerebellum neatly and steadily. This is going to be a really nice hopscotch!

EGOTRONIC - PROVOCATION HAS A NAME

And off: The EGOTRONIC think tank Torsun stands for controversy like few other German musicians in our small, almost ideal world. But that's how it should be. Punk means nonconformity, it means rubbing and pushing against one another. Hmm, sounds kind of like Pogo too. There will definitely be one. Electro beats and guitar strums, that's going to bang!

MASKED INTRUDER - THE LIVING KNITTING FETISH

Officer Bradford, the old hustler, is on their trail again. But that doesn't matter to the Masked Intruders. To confuse him, they exchange their colored masks with each other or talk to him about mesh structures and thread wrappings. It doesn't matter to us, as long as they're on stage in Glaubitz on time! Friends of melodic punk rock with pop punk elements will get their money's worth here.

POISON IDEA - HARDCORE MONSTER ON A FAREWELL ROUND

After the umpteenth attempt, it should really work this time that the hardcore punk battleship Poison Idea comes to us. That's really important to us, because it's supposed to be the last tour before Jerry A. breaks up this extraordinary group. We want to really go crazy together again... PLASTIC BOMB!

NASHVILLE PUSSY - UNSHAVED AND AWAY FROM HOME

Handmade rawk 'n' roll from Atlanta in the U, S and A comes of course from Nashville Pussy. The crazy quartet around the couple Blaine Cartwright and Ruyter Suys come to plow the riding arena back and forth so that they can soak it afterwards with their very idiosyncratic mix. Feel free to come in chaps.

LOKALE - RHYMES FRESH FROM THE HEART, UH THE LIVER AWAY

DIE LOKALMATADORE, the kings of unique poetry, are coming to you and us again this year to shower everyone with their poetry. Goethe and Rilke would be green with envy if they could still experience these incomparable love rhymes. Bet? We just say: Olé, olé, olé - Viva local hero.

THE LADS - THE WILD SOUTH IS COMING

Oi! The Lads. The skins from Freiburg go almost across Schland. Classic, rough street punk, from guys who wear Klorix jeans every day and haven't reduced them to weekend wear. We are excited about these young and willing wild ones from the south.

STARTS - THE NEXT ROUND OF BAND STARTS

After 2006, STARTS comes to us again before taking a longer break to devote themselves to various other things. Whether, how and when they will return from the break is anyone's guess. But they come to us again with a new recording via CONTRA RECORDS. We're excited about that.

THE CASUALTIES - THE THREE-WAY COUP

Do you know THE CASUALTIES three-way coup? This is him:

  1. With KRUM BUMS- Dave they couldn't find a better new singer.
  2. With "Written In Blood" they have released a stunning new album.
  3. This summer they'll be back on stage with us to blast some really delicious Gutterpunk in your ears!
Iros up, rivets polished, off we go.

PIY - PUNK ROCK KARAOKE

SING YOURSELF BROKE BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES IT

The basis of our Waldbad program is of course still in place for the fifth year in a row:

PIY - PUNKROCK KARAOKE gets you in the mood long before the first band on Saturday, or offers a great soundtrack for swimming, splashing or ass-bombing in the oversized puddle right next to the festival site. Some traditions are worth preserving!

BAR STOOL PREACHERS - THE SO CALLED NEXT BIG THING

Anyone who has been at least somewhat attentively following the punk rock circus live over the last two to three years has probably already been to a concert by these great Englishmen. If not, this needs to be done urgently so that afterwards you can claim to have seen it within a manageable framework.

BAR STOOL PREACHERS play a refreshingly rousing mix of ska, punk and some reggae, have bumblebees in their butts and will challenge your fitness. Promised!

COCKNEY REJECTS - HISTORY LESSON AT THE FOREST BATH

Anyone who has seen Jeff Turner and Mick Geggus, the co-founders of Oi!, in recent years knows that COCKNEY REJECTS are anything but a rip off.

On the contrary, the band continues in its 40th ( !) This year has clearly moved forward and still wants to throw their classics at you. Real punk rock history is coming our way.

THE TOTEN CRACKHUREN IM KOFFERRAUM (GER)

Yeah, these riot boxes aren't a band, they're a support group. We are aware of the danger that when @crackhuren walk around the festival grounds, they cause stress. But none of them are really sick, they just have hematomas and smell like patchouli oil.

What kind of crazy post is this? If you listen to the new record, you'll understand it and, on top of that, you'll be able to sing along to it. It's going to be awesome!

25 YEARS OF STREETPUNK: DIE PUNKROIBER (GER)

This year DIE PUNKROIBER already has a whole generation on stage. That's 25 years of dirty 80s street punk of the rough variety. We are really looking forward to being able to celebrate an anniversary with the band members in Glaubitz this time.

They are usually here with other projects, sunbathing in the forest pool or hanging out at the family campsite. A celebration with friends.
