Family camping

Information about the family campsite

Hello dear ones!
We are pleased that you and your kids are visiting the family campsite at Glaubitz Open Air / Back To Future!

Here we have some important information about the process:
The family area is located on the meadow of the last few years, please follow the signs BANDS/CREW/FAMILY CAMP.

We are also trying again to organize a small children's fun program in the later afternoons (Friday and Saturday). Our magician Martin is being discussed as another highlight. You are welcome to get involved yourself in this regard. Please contact us and share your ideas with us! When you register (follow the link below) you are registered and you will receive separate wristbands at the checkout at the normal campsite so that only registered families can camp on the area, which should also be in your interest in terms of safety. The duty of supervision and care lies solely with the parents; the Youth Protection Act is binding.

For the area we offer, we see the term “family” in a more traditional way, i.e. parents or grandparents with their children or grandchildren. Third degree relatives “Uncle and aunt also want to go to the family camp” goes beyond the scope and ultimately abuses the whole idea behind it. ... you can still meet every day on the festival grounds or in the forest pool.

Admission is free up to and including 13 years and up to and including 15 years there is a whopping 50% discount - only at the box office. Please bring proof of each case with you - birth certificate, children's passport, pioneer ID card, etc.! From the age of 16, young people pay full price.

When it comes to food on the festival grounds, there is definitely something for both large and small stomachs. You can bring your own breakfast or get it at the regular campsite and from 10:00 a.m. in the forest pool. Drinks are also allowed to be brought along for use at the campsite, but please do not bring glasses or bring them onto the festival grounds.

Two Dixie toilets are available at the family campsite and lighting is provided. There is NO drinking water at the campsite. Please bring enough water (in plastic bottles or canisters).

You are welcome to make arrangements with other families at the campsite regarding the care of your children if you wish. You can meet in this »FACEBOOK-GROUP. It is a closed group, we have to add you after request.

You know best what personal equipment you and your little ones need. Just the following: Unfortunately there are no opportunities to play on the campsite and you will have to bring your own. It is essential to have good hearing protection for the correct size of children's ears! We have to put more effort into preparing and securing the family campsite (security/site costs/light/Dixies, etc.). We will not be able to avoid adding a small additional amount (€15) per adult for this privileged additional area. We will collect this small additional amount when the wristband is issued at the campsite cash desk.
